Meet Our Team

Brian Headdings

Executive Director

Brian Headdings serves as Executive Director of Take2 Ministries. Originally from Pennsylvania, Brian has been involved in camping/conference center leadership since the early 1990’s, with ministry responsibility in the states of Pennsylvania, New York, Florida and Alaska.  With a degree in Business Administration and extensive practical experience, Brian has served in numerous faith-based, non-profit organizations in areas that include administration, finance, marketing, program, staffing and operations.  For over 15 years, Brian’s influence has included camp and conference speaking as well as mentoring camp staff on various topics of leadership and personal growth.  Most recently he served as Executive Director of Victory Ministries of Alaska and is a past President of the Christian Camp and Conference Association (CCCA), Alaska Section, whose national headquarters is in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Milo Elver

Operations Director

Milo comes to Take2 Ministries with an extensive background in technology and business operations. He has also been in church ministry for over 15 years and is currently serving as Worship Pastor at a church in Wasilla, AK. Moving from Florida over 3 years ago, Milo, his wife, Ashley and their 3 children left their family and moved “as far from the heat as possible” to Alaska where they found that the ministry opportunities here are great. Milo has spent a lot of time with camps.  First as a camper, and then as volunteer staff and most recently as an IT and operational consultant. He is excited to bring his experience and knowledge to Take2 Ministries and help support Alaskan camps and conference/retreat centers reach their communities for the Lord.

Jeff Winell

Program Director

Jeff joins Take2 Ministries with 12 years of experience serving in the camping ministry. Born in Michigan, he is a graduate of Cornerstone University with a degree in Business Management and Ministry Leadership. Jeff has served in leadership in camps in Alaska and Michigan while most recently serving as Director of Good News Camp in Gladwin, Michigan. He has served in many aspects of camping, gaining valuable experience in the Operations field which includes food service, maintenance, finances, marketing and recruiting. He has also led in the Program area through program team management, new program development and summer staff oversight. Throughout his camping experience, Jeff also has served as a camp speaker and conducted leader training, including leadership and staff development. Jeff and his wife Krista and their 4 boys are excited to join TAKE2 and anxious to serve the camping community.
